The Canadian Council of Directors of Apprenticeship (CCDA) is the interprovincial body responsible for the oversight and management of the Red Seal Program. A request has been submitted to the CCDA to change the name of two Red Seal trades: Motor Vehicle Body Repairer and Automotive Painter.
As part of its process in reviewing such requests, the CCDA requires industry consultation within all the provinces and territories that participate in the Red Seal Program for the trade(s) affected. On behalf of the CCDA, the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency (NSAA) is asking for your input on these two Red Seal name change requests.
